If you’re a college football fan, then you’ve probably seen this photo floating around in the last week. And if Denard Robinson happens to be absurdly good the rest of the year, then you will probably see it floating around for much longer. But maybe you did not know that the photo was taken by a college student who needed this phone call to realize it might spread farther than, you know, the trash can of a campus dormitory:
“He was, like, ‘Dude, you’ve got to put this photo up on the AP,’” he said. “And I said, ‘Why? It’s a cool photo, but it’s not anything fantastic.’ And he said, ‘No, you don’t understand. It looks exactly like the fucking Heisman pose!’”
