Five years ago—today, in fact!—Princeton’s basketball team scored 21 points in a blowout loss. It was the lowest-scoring Division I game since the beginning of time (or at least the introduction of the 3-point line), and it was far from an anomaly, as Princeton habitually ranked dead last nationally in points and possessions per game. So, for a program that once played slower than the Dinky that choo-choos through campus, this current Princeton team looks more like a bullet train. Last week, I Dinkied down to campus for the Journal to chat about the evolving Princeton offense, and—excuse this “60 Minutes”-ism—here’s what I found!
