"They’d have Saturday night games, pickup games, and I was the stats man. Half the time, I was the guy responsible for leaving the door and the window in the locker room ajar so they could come in Saturday night at midnight. They made their own arrangements to cut the lights on, just enough so they could play. But if you were around, campus cops were bound to see the lights on. No one gave a damn. They’d play from midnight to who knows? I came when it started, and I never saw it end."

Bill Brill, who passed away yesterday.
