It’s totally worth a read, and I agree with most everything in here—especially the part about books, because books are great!—but it was the formatting of the footnotes that I enjoyed most. The Paris Review does something similar with its blog, and I’m sure many others do, too, so this probably isn’t any sort of revelation, or anything. It’s just pretty cool. That’s all.
